Bare Metal Project Wizard not appears with CrossCore2.9.4.0 + BareMetal_SDK-Rel2.1.1

We are looking into this issue currently. The only workaround for now is to use CCES 2.9.3 as we try to figure out why this is happening.

Hi Hiro,

There is a bug in CCES that prevents the Bare Metal project wizard shortcut from showing up at the top of the "File" -> "New" menu in older workspaces.

If you are using a workspace that was created before installing the BareMetal SDK, you can find the Bare Metal project wizard using the "File -> "New" -> "Other..." menu:

If you create a new workspace (after the BareMetal SDK has been installed), you can find the new Bare Metal project wizard directly from the "File" -> "New" menu, as shown in the wiki article.

You can also find the Bare Metal project wizard by right-clicking in the Project Explorer:

Hi,

I'm having the same problem as Hiro, but this solution doesn't work for me. I'm on Win10 running CCES 2.10 with Bare Metal 2.1.1. I've installed both CCES and Bare Metal with no problems, the ICE 1000 is plugged in, but I cannot find the new SHARC Audio Module Bare Metal Project anywhere.

Any ideas?

Same problem as WuTangDan. Running on Win10, CCES 2.10.0, Bare Metal 2.1.0 and using the ICE-1000.
I also entered the SHARC Audio Module CrossCore Serial Number (EZK-CCES-9FYX-DSAC-FPNV-4WVP-E5X4-VGKC-GI01) during the CCES installation. Maybe the Bare Metal Wizard is only available with the full CCES license?

Mike and I will try to figure out a workaround and then make sure this gets addressed in an upcoming CCES release. It should not be related to a full license though. Also, there were a few minor updates in the bare metal 2.1.1 release that you might want to update for.

Unfortunately there is an issue with the Bare Metal framework and CCES 2.10.0. We recommend you use CCES 2.9.4 until we have a solution. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Once the 3 core projects are generated in 2.9.4 using the bm project wizard you should be fine to use 2.10.0 but unfortunately an upgrade to a newer version of Eclipse in 2.10.0 has cause the wizard to not load properly.
