Hi.
How can I verify that my ICE2000 is communicating with my SC589 MINI board at the fastest speed? It seems things are a little on the slow side.
Thank you,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Once you've started a debugging session in CCES, you could use Target->Settings->JTAG Frequency Selection to switch the JTAG frequency. It should remember the setting from that point on.

Hi Kevin,
In CCES, after you have connected be sure that the cores are all halted. Then choose Target::Settings:JTAG Frequency Selection. You can try 46 and then test to make sure it works which it did on mine. After closing the dialog you should be able to just restart but I had a problem doing that(I need to add an issue to our database) so instead just disconnect and reconnect. If you notice any instability just drop it down to 23. Not every part supports the highest JTAG frequency and I would have to verify if this one does or not.
As far as the CLDP though we don't support an option to pass the JTAG frequency so it only runs at 9 MHz.

Chad
