Hi, all

In 2009rc1.1-rc1 "Library Configuration ", there are some items like " --- DirectFB requires FDPIC ELF", questions are:

(1)what does it mean?It indicates "compile DirectFB" or "not compile DirectFB" or "only can be selected when FDPIC ELF is selected"(I selected "support FDPIC ELF" in kerkel configuration but this item is still not selectable)?

(2)what's the relationship between it and  "FDPIC ELF"?

I think it's "only can be selected when FDPIC ELF is selected", it can not be selectable as it's selected by default. See if   docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=toolchain:executable_file_formats&s[]=fdpic&s[]=elf make sense for you.
