I am working with 2009R1-RC1. I am trying to enable the oprofile . i have enabled the following options in the kernel.

General setup --->

[*] Profiling support (EXPERIMENTAL)

<*> OProfile system profiling (EXPERIMENTAL) Miscellaneous Applications --->

[*] oprofile

But While building i am getting "xgettext... configure: error:" please find the log below.

Is there any other option to be enabled along with this? Please provide ur views on this.

please read the documentation. you havent installed all the required packages on your host system.
