2008-03-28 01:23:07 codecs and FXS card
Efreen Loaiza (ECUADOR)
Message: 53211 Hi everybody:
I just bought an IP04 and FXS cards were working fine. Now they stopped working and I do not why (there is no dial-tone)?
This is what I got:
- When I use my IP phone and make a call to FXS port light starts blinking but anything happens
- dmesg:
BusyBox v1.4.1 (2007-09-06 23:55:25 EDT) Built-in shell (msh)

What could it be?
And another question please.
I want to load g729 codec to my IP04 for testing purposes. I found this page: http://blackfin.uclinux.org/gf/project/uclinux-dist/scmsvn/?action=browse&path=/branches/2008R1/lib/libbfgdots/g729/
BUT i do not know how to compile the codec. May somebody where can I find step by step information about it?
Thank you in advance.

To build the lib, just do "make menuconfig" and select:
"Customize Vendor/User Settings--->
Library Configuration --->
Build libbfgdots"
