2008-04-30 10:59:15 where is the audio codec of BF527 EZKIT LITE situated

Message: 55298 it came to pass that i have got a dev. board like above, rev. 1.4, pretty fresh..
the docu of the board is pretty unspecifying in that case. it reads something of audio codec, but neihter in the PBC can it be found nor in the docus.
btw, i am aware that i am using a BF527 and not BF527C which has a codec integrated. why then does ADI supply the board with audio cable and even plugs on the PCB.
the shematics shipped with the board are somehow unspecific. there it reads that the L/R signals directly enter and exit the BF, also there is a DAC / ADC pinout (5 pins, DACLRC, DACDAT, ADCDAT, ADCLRC, BCLK).
now what is what..
anyone with more ideas about that. or is it a copy and paste issue with specs for bf527c by ADI?
thx

The best place to get hardware questions answered is from ADI:

as far as I know, the part that is on the EZkits is BF527C (with the codec).
But - Linux does not have a driver yet.
