Message: 55267 You can compile the kernel in Windows using colinux. See:
http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=colinux
But given that you already have Linux on your machine, this might not be your best bet. You might want to think about shrinking the size of your Windows partition, if you have the space, using any of the common partitioning tools (partition magic, etc, or the Linux partition manager you can find by booting any recent Linux distro CD) then giving that freed-up space to Linux. Ensure you back-up your data first; partitioning mistakes are often irreversible.
If you have a desktop PC, it might be easier (& much safer) to just physically install a second harddrive.

Message: 55308 you cannot build uclinux-dist under Windows or on a Windows partition (regardless of the operating system). Windows is not POSIX compliant in the least, nor is any of its filesystems.
