Can someone please tell me which soundcards are being supported for uclinux/Linphone? Also, could you please tell me where to get it? I know the AD1836A Daughter card is supported, but it does not look like it is being made anymore, and I can not find it anywhere. There is a new EVAL board coming out that I believe is the succesor to the daughter board, will this be supported?
Any information at all would be very helpful!
Thanks

if the audio device works, then linphone should work. we dont classify any card based on application support. that's the point of having ALSA in between the userspace application and the actual hardware.
i dont really know what card you're talking about. "new EVAL board" is pretty vague.

Sorry for the confusion, I understand that if the audio device works, then linphone should work. What I want to know is what audio devices are currently working and (preferably) supported by the blackfin uclinux distro? The eval board I am referring to is EVAL-AD1836AEB:
http://www.analog.com/en/audiovideo-products/audio-codecs/ad1836a/products/product.html#pricing
I purchased the EZ extender card, but then read that you guys don't support it, I don't want to make that mistake again.
Thanks!

that isnt a new eval board, that's the old one being reworked to be RHOS compliant ... so we will have to retest it to make sure it still works, but otherwise it should be fine ...
all of the audio devices we currently support are listed in our wiki ...

Thanks for the quick reply. I took a look at the wiki and it says you have two available cards:
http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=hardware_platform
the AD1836A, which from the begninning of this thread you know I can not find and is not set to be remade fro 2 months
and
the AD73311, I called analog and they said that the eval board for this codec has been obseleted EVAL-AD73311LEB
http://www.analog.com/en/audiovideo-products/audio-codecs/ad73311l/products/product.html
By my research my only option is to wait for the new eval AD1836A eval board to come out. Is this correct? Am I missing something?
Thanks

unless you feel like dropping a lot of money and buying a BF548-EZKIT or BF527-EZKIT, then the AD1836A is your best bet at the moment

Thanks for all the help! You have been great!
One more thing: Do you know if linphone has been succesfully tested on either the 548 or 527? The site just says the 533/7.
Thanks Again!

i dont think we've tested linphone on a bf54x or bf52x ... it should work just fine, but we havent tried
we've been doing more multimedia things (mplayer/ffmpeg) on the bf548-ezkit
