Good day everybody,
I am having some troubles trying to build a network connection between a windows-Computer and the BF537 (uClinux). Right now I am using a work around: the BF537 pings the host computer right after booting. After this, the host-computer is able to see (to ping) the BF537.
Does anyone know, what needs to be changed in the uClinux-Config in order to see the bf537 without bf537 pinging any Host-Computer?
Thanks for the suggestions.
- Edwin

what version of software are you using (u-boot/toolchain/uclinux-dist) ? *when* do you do the ping (in u-boot/Linux/etc....) ?
post the full booting output as well as `ifconfig` on the interface

Hello Mike,
the versions are:
uClinux-Version: 2006R2
Tool Chain: Toolchain Release 2006R2
u-boot: uboot_1.1.3 Release 2006R2
I actually do the ping when uClinux is running (rc - file)
please check the files for more info.
Thanks in advance.

that's an awfully old release ... do you only have the network problems with that one windows machine, or is it any external machine ?
use wireshark and see if the Blackfin board responds to any machines
