Are there any plans to add support for ubifs? I am assuming that once the distro will catchup to the laetst kernel, then ubifs will be avilable?
Thanks,
Mark

Yes - there are plans to support ubifs, and the ubifs host tools (to create flash images) like we do with yaffs and jffs2. The kernel side of ubifs is already in trunk (and has been for the past 7 weeks, since we updated to 2.6.28-rc2), but I don't think we have added the host tools yet, or tried it out.

I think most if it is done: http://git.denx.de/?p=u-boot/u-boot-ubi.git;a=summary
It appears to be in the main tree for 2009.01-rc1
but I don't think we were planning on moving to that for the 2009 release. I will need to check with Mike when he gets back from vacation...
