Dear All,
we are using BF533-Ezkit board and 2008R1.5 release for testing the SPORT UART emulation.
we have configured SPORT1 as UART and done the basic testing.
Both transmitting and receiving works fine.
But the SPORT emulated UART receiver unable to receive the more than four or five bytes.
it will receive 4bytes correctly and fifth byte is wrong and it wont receive the sixth byte and after that.
it is showing "ttySS1: 1 input overrun(s)" and error irq occurs.
but in the trasmit side its fine.
let me know your suggestions how can we receive more than five bytes in the Sport emulated UART with out any error..
With Regards,
Thangaraj.P

Did you wire
SPORT RFSx and DRxPRI together?

Hi ThangarJ P,
How have you do your HW configuration, with diodes or resistors ?
Could you explain precisely your HW configuration ?
Best regards ,
Claudio

Hi Claudio,
No diodes and resistors are used.
we have connected directly Ezkit SPORT emulted UART Tx pin to device UART Rx Pin and device Tx pin to EZkit Rx and RFS pin.
please find the attchment of simple HW configuration diagram which we have done for our testing.
