Hello,
we have got the first samples of the BF526BCZ-3AX Rev. 0.1.
We exchanged a Rev. 0.0 chip with a Rev. 0.1 chip and got a non-working
USB host port. The presence of the USB stick is detected, but enumeration
is not working (no deug messages seen).
On the Test conditions label which came with the chips is noted:
TESTED: Functional (all blocks except noted)
USB - Full Speed
USB - High Speed (rev. 0.1 only)
Untested: USB - High Speed (rev. 0.0. only)
So do we need a driver change to support the BF 526 Rev. 0.1?
Any recommendations?
regards
Wolfgang

I don't have any 526 0.1 boards to test on, but I think that Sonic or Yi has some.

Hi all,
we have found the cause of the problem. There was a hardware defect on the test board.
I can confirm that USB (host) is working on BF 526 Rev. 0.1.
Problem solved.
regards
Wolfgang

Glad things are working - just to confirm - you are using the svn branch or svn trunk? I think there were some issues in the release tar ball that were fixed later (0.1 was not out at the time that the release was made).

Robin,
I am using kernel svn revision 5494. I think we will upgrade to a new version before our product leaves the factory.
Waiting for the next release!
