2009-12-10 11:17:23 SVN Trunk: Not able to use the console(BF526 ezbrd)

Message: 83362
Hi,
I downloaded the latest uclinux/toolchain from SVN trunk. And built the distribution for BF526 ezbrd.
In u-boot (ADI-2009R2-pre, not SVN) I have set the bootargs to:
root=/dev/mtdblock0 rw clkin_hz=25000000 earlyprintk=serial,uart1,57600 console=ttyBF1,57600
With this I am able to boot the linux properly, but after booting I do not have any control on the console. I mean I cannot enter anything using the keyboard from the host. I tried using hyperterminal/minicom but no luck.
Please suggest me what could be the problem?
I have put the kernel logs as inline for your reference:

Hi Michael,
1. It is not a HW problem since earlier we were using 2009 release but never saw this kind of issue. But with the trunk version we are seeing something strange. Moreover, currently also at uboot level uart terminal works fine but its erratic after linux boots. Attached is the waveform of activity on UART Rx / Tx lines on uboot and linux when we type "a" at respective prompts.
2. After kernel boot up, when we type some command (on hyperterminal) example: "ls", then it shows back the list of files in the directory. Problem is what ever I type is not ECHOed back on the console and the terminal messages are erratic. However it seems to execute the commands properly like cd /bin, init, reboot.
Please suggest us on what could be the issue.
Thanks.

I think Kumar needed something he could send us a patch to review - so that would be trunk.
