Hello,
I am tracking down an issue where when a USB stick is inserted I see an error that indicates that the USB has been removed when it is not.
Here is a snippet of the error, this just repeats.
BusyBox v1.13.4 (2009-12-18 11:08:04 EST) built-in shell (msh) Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

USB clock is 24MHz, SCLK 66MHz is CCLK is ~400MHz
Attached are two logs that document a successful run (while using a BF527 EZ-KIT) and an unsuccessful run using the custom board.
Running this on a BF527 EZ-KIT works and has rev 0.0 silicon on it, the custom board has rev 0.2 silicon. The kernel is 2009 RC6. The kernel is recompiled to reflect the right target silicon rev.
The only obvious hardware difference is that the customer board uses pg12 for vsel, where the ez-kit uses pg13. This is entered correctly to as tests with it wrong show no activity when a USB is inserted.
See attached log files. They each start at the point where the usb stick is inserted.
Thanks,

It may be hard to reproduce this issue - but I will report a bug to track this issue.
To help us to reproduce, can you run "make bugreport" in uclinuc-dist/, and attach bugreport.tgz here?

Which version of release do you use? Do you have a ezkit board with v0.2 chip to test?

Hi Giuseppe,
Double check the VBUS / BUSPWR (+5V) supply on the custom board.
Make sure it's low resistance and try to add 100 - 120uF Caps - to it be aware this is only allowed (actually a requirement) when Blackfin act as USB HOST.
I've seen similar failures before - caused by some USB DEVICE inrush current. There is some error signaling when the voltage drops below as certain value.
Best regards,
Michael

Michael,
Could you clarify on what you mean by "only allowed" and "required" in host mode. I am unclear on how this is compatable with USB OTG.
