did this ever work ?

It worked before. The bellow version is an example.

I have fixed it in u-boot.
There are some kernel images that worked because they do not turn on DSA
driver.
--- Mike Frysinger 2009-04-28 20:46:58
thanks
--- Vivi Li 2009-05-12 04:13:17
OK now. Close it.
--- Andrew Kohlsmith 2010-02-23 11:19:32
There is a hardware bug on the ezboard (rev 1.0).
The BF518 RxER input is floating; the RxER pin on the PHY is unconnected. The
driver turns this pin into the RxER input, but without a driving source I have
found that it works "most of the time." A 10k resistor to ground has
made it 100% stable on my boards. B17 and B19 on P6 on the bottom of the board
make a perfect place to put a 0402 resistor. :-)
--- Mike Frysinger 2010-02-23 11:23:51
that's a different issue. the RxER input is left floating on purpose and the
linux kernel shouldnt be requesting it. see [#5843].
