The RXERR(PG1) pin on the old BF518-ezbrd(REV 0.1) is also not used by KSZ
switch. So there is a hardware workaround on this board, which pulled down this
pin by a 1K resister.
The new board(REV 1.0) not have this workaround, so this bug existed.
Mike afforded a software workaround which disabled the PG1's peripheral
function.
This workaround also works for old board.
I think we need add the hardware workaround to the new board as the old board
did.

It pings ok now on this bf518 board after applying the hareware workaround. So
close.
--- Graf Yang 2010-03-04 21:26:09
The pin PG1/MII RXER (I have a typo error in my previous comment) should be
pulled to low.
This pin is named ERXER on the schedmatic.
