Follow-ups
--- Barry Song 2010-01-20 02:03:50
df_dok catches the SIGINT, and print: Caught signal 2 (sent by the kernel) when
CTRL + C is pressed.
But I only saw 4 threads are killed after that:
(1)before ctrl + c:
475 root 4728 R df_dok --noresults
476 root 4728 S df_dok --noresults
477 root 4728 S df_dok --noresults
478 root 4728 S df_dok --noresults
479 root 4728 S df_dok --noresults
480 root 4728 S df_dok --noresults
481 root 4728 S df_dok --noresults
(2)after ctrl + c:
475 root 4728 S df_dok --noresults
476 root 4728 S df_dok --noresults
477 root 4728 S df_dok --noresults
478 root 4728 S df_dok --noresults
Then I run "kill -9 475", all threads are killed. Since un-catched
SIGKILL can kill all threads, looks like df_dok has some problems in signal
handers in itself. Let me check.
--- Barry Song 2010-01-20 04:38:30
To debug this problem, I use trunk head to compile a new uImage, but problem
disappear.
Attached my uImage.
--- Vivi Li 2010-02-24 03:14:12
Bug still exist in regression machine for bf548-ezkit.
--- Sonic Zhang 2010-07-02 05:57:42
This bug related to which host building system is used. Barry can't replicate it
on ubuntu with the same toolchain used on a Suse test machine.
Low its priority for future investigation.
--- Vivi Li 2010-09-15 03:53:45
Still exists in 2010r1 branch.
