watchdogd bug

Question

After upgrading to ADI-2011R1-RC4_45 for BF537 my terminal displays the following message "init: /bin/watchdogd respawning too fast" 
 every few minutes. How do I stop this?

The problem has gone away if the kernal is configured as in: 
 select watchdog timer support 
 select DISABLE WATCHDOG SHUTDOWN ON CLOSE 
 select BLACKFIN ON-CHIP WATCHDOG TIMER 
 These selections don't happen in the default config.......but must be manually entered...)
