i'm run into a eclipse error which i'm not able to solve myself on a fresh ubuntu/eclipse install.
i'm running ubuntu 11.10 with eclipse helios and self-compiled toolchain.
PATH variable is set in linux. i also tried setting PATH variable in eclipse... but also no success...
when i start a new project... i.e. simple hello world from doc, eclipse put warnings and i'm not able to compile (guess it's because eclipse cannot find the symbols)
the displayed warnings are
Error launching external scanner info generator (bfin-linux-uclibc-gcc -E -P -v -dD /home/pez3/workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.cdt.make.core/specs.c)
don't know howto solve it...
if i run this command via console i don't get any error, warning, etc.
can anybody help me here?
In order to better diagnose the problem it would be helpful to see your Eclipse error log. You can post it here by following these steps:
1.) Open Eclipse
2.) Click Window -> Show View -> Other... -> Error Log
3.) Right click in the Error Log window and click Export...
4.) Save it to a .log file and attach it to this thread.
thank you for trying to help me.
i got the solution by myself. i only set PATH variable in the shell not system wide.
after setting it system wide it worked all...
