Recommend WiFi for BF516

Hello,

We'd like to include WiFi on one of our BF516 devices. I'm in doubt as to what I should present to my hw colleagues though.

We want something that:

- works in Linux (It should integrate with the existing TCP/IP stack. I know you can buy modules that has own stacks and such.)

- affordable price

- doesn't require us to do expensive certifications or the like.

- Isn't outdated. (We'd like to be able to buy it, or some compatible replacement in 5 years also.)

The old recommendations from Analog is to use a Marvell 8686: http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=linux-kernel:drivers:wifi_over_sdio

I'm fairly sure that doesn't exist anymore. And so the drivers made by Cosybit is of no use either: http://cozybit.com/our-projects/embedded-linux/open-source-wifi-driver-for-the-blackfin-platform/

What's the current recommendation? What wifi development kit should I buy, if I want something that works out-of-the-box?

The 2013r1 kernel got a few possibilities. Marvell, Broadcom, Atheros, Softmac, Ralink, Realtek, TI.
