We provide an ICE Test Utility as part of the VisualDSP++ Tools. This utility can be used to test for faulty JTAG connections between your ICE and Hardware, as well as testing your hardware configuration.

For VisualDSP++ 4.0 and above the ICE Test is accessed from the 'VisualDSP++ Configurator'', available via the 'Analog Devices' -> 'VisualDSP++' Start-Menu item, or from within the New Session window.

For VisualDSP++ 3.5 the ICE Test is directly available via the 'Analog Devices' -> 'VisualDSP++' Start-Menu item.

Please see the VisualDSP++ help pages for details of each step in the ICE Test or alternatively the 'Emulator and EZ-KIT LiteRegistered Evaluation System Troubleshooting Guide' (EE-175), availble here: http://www.analog.com/ee175
