how two debug tow processor on the JTAG chain?

Thread Summary

The user encountered JTAG emulation issues with a board containing ADSP21061 and MPC860 processors connected in a single JTAG chain. The suggested configurations for Platform 01 and Platform 10 did not resolve the issue. The final response advised checking the board design against Analog Devices' JTAG Emulation Technical Reference (EE-68) and running the ICE Test utility. If problems persist, the user should contact processor.tools.support@analog.com with the board schematic.

  • Hi Dell,

HAs the customer ever been able to connect to this board? Or is this the first attempt?

Can you confirm the customers board design conforms to the EE-68 - Analog Devices JTAG Emulation Technical Reference. Which is available here: www.analog.com/ee-68.

Does the ICE Test utility run successfully or does it fail at any point? If the Test fails, please provide us with a screenshot showing the ICE Test results.

If they are still having problems please can you ask the customer to contact processor.tools.support@analog.com with a copy of their custom board schematic so that we can review it.

    Regards,

    Colin.
