How can I update the DebugAgent on the EV-SOMCRR-EZKIT?

Hi,
I have just opened up my EV-SOMCRR-EZKIT for the first time in a year or two, and attached the ADSP-SC835W SOM. 
I launched CCES and attempted to run the audio talkthrough example.
However, this is failing, and though I don't know if this is the cause, OpenOCD is telling me that the debug agent on my board is out of date.

However, I cannot find any information on how I should go about updating the debug agent. 
How do I do this update? 

Also, there is no description in the ADSP-SC835W SOM for how the boot select should be configured. 
Can anyone advise?
