ICE-1000 issues in CCES 2.12.01 with own ADSP-21469 board

Further info: I thought that maybe I need to update the firmware of the ICE1000, I tried to use OpenOCD to update the firmware I freshly downloaded from ADI - but ...

And now I am really out of ideas ... TIA!

As the ICE test pass successfully, We have an FAQ on the EngineerZone that discusses potential problems with targets when the ICE Test passes but connection to a session is not possible, which we would recommend you take a look at:

As you are using custom board, please verify the JTAG designed as per the below linked manual.

Please share us the below details with the above results.
1. Are you using the emulator cable (2-meter USB standard-A to mini-B cable) which is shipped with the emulator package or any other?
2. Did you have any other custom board with you? If you have, can you try connecting the session using that board and see the results.
3. Have you worked on this board before or this is the first time you are working with this board?
4. Do you have any other emulator? if so, please check it with your custom board and see if it still fails.

here are the answers to your points in your last post:

1. I am using the emulator cable (2-meter USB standard-A to mini-B cable) which is shipped with the emulator package.

2. I do have another Analog Devises dev board ... somewhere ... Still trying to locate it. I will report back on the results ASAP.

3. This is the first time I am working on this specific board.

4. I don't have another emulator available.

I checked the articles and posts in the threads you pointed to but could not find any advice helping me in my case.

Had you verify whether the custom board JTAG designed as per the below linked manual?

Also, please review your custom board schematics once.

If you are able to locate the ADI evaluation board, it would assist in determining whether the issue is related to the emulator or the custom board. Also please verify if the emulator is detected in the 'Device Manager' under 'CrossCore Tools' and Share screenshots of the Device Manager and emulator properties page.
