FreeRTOS port for BF537

Hello,

I just realized that I cannot download uCOS III for CrossCore Embedded Studio anymore.

Instead FreeRTOS is offered as operating system.

We use the BF537 processor. In FreeRTOS Examples only BF7xx was ported.

Can I use this for my BF537 processor or can I use a other example?

Hi,

unfortunately the current port of FreeRTOS is only compatible with the BF7xx family of processor, since they introduced some new assembler instructions. At this point in time Analog Devices do not have an RTOS available for older Blackfin processors.

There may be third parties who are able to offer a solution.

If RTOS is currently not compatible with older Blackfin processors, why was the download of ADI uCOS-III Rel2.9.0 removed.

Only FreeRTOS is offered for download for Blackfin processors.
