We have failed to include emu pin in our design and as far as we can see processor can't be halted without it. Documentation states that emulator will ignore it and flash yellow if there is issue with EMU on target board, but we don't seem to get that yellow light. Should we redesign our board or there is a way to make it work without emu?
Hello,We understand that you have already contacted our private support. Please continue the discussion there. We will post the final response here for others to benefit.Regards,Santha kumari.K
Hello,Please note that devices with the ARM Coresight based debug implemented such as the BF70x,SC58x and ADSP2158x families do not implement the ~EMU signal. Simply omit the interconnect and logic associated with ~EMU signal from these designs.ADSP-BF609 processor has implementation of Jtag ~EMU signal. We recommend to refer the "ADSP-BF609 EZ-Board SCHEMATIC" section in the below linked Evaluation System Manual .www.analog.com/.../ADSP-BF609_ezkit_manual.pdfAlso, as you are using a custom board can you please confirm that it complies with the JTAG Technical Reference Guide EE-68, which is available online at the following location:http://www.analog.com/ee68Regards,Santha kumari.K
