Does CrossCore Embedded Studio have a floating license option?
CrossCore Embedded Studio does not have a floating license option. Instead a new corporate domain license type is available. A corporate domain license locks the CCES software to any computer on a specified corporate network (e.g. ad.analog.com, spd.analog.com, etc).
There are 10, 20 and unlimited user versions of the corporate domain License and you should purchase the license type that reflects the number of users that are concurrently developing with CrossCore Embedded Studio. There are no restrictions to the number of machines corporate licenses can be installed on, as long as they are connected to the specified corporate network.
Further information on Corporate Domain and all CrossCore Embedded Studio license types can be found in the CrossCore Licensing guide.
Apologies for the confusion. There is a 5 user Corporate license solution (AD-CCES-CORP-5). I will ensure that the FAQ and Product Page are both updated to reflect this.
What is the smallest number of users for a corporate domain License? On the CCES webpage (http://www.analog.com/en/evaluation/ADSWT-CCES/eb.html) the number of users are given as 10, 20, unlimited - same numbers as in your answer. From both information (your answer and CCES webpage) i would say 10 is the smallest number.
But on the CCES webpage there is a product table that contains a row with a five user corporate license (AD-CCES-CORP-5)!?
I am a bit confused. Is there a five user corporate license?
