How can I obtain and install a license for CrossCore Embedded Studio?

Answer:
There are several license types (see FAQ: What are the different types of licenses for CrossCore Embedded Studio?), Evaluation, Full, EZ-Kit and Add-in.
Evaluation License
To obtain and install an Evaluation license, when starting CrossCore Embedded Studio for the first time, you will be prompted to install a license. Click ‘Yes’ to install a license and then in the “Select License Type” window select the following:-
- to begin a 90 day evaluation of CrossCore Embedded Studio, select ‘I do not have a serial number and would like to evaluate the product’, and click 'Next'.
In the “Select license activation method’ window select ‘Install and activate a license on-line all in one step,’ click 'Next' and fill in the required contact details. Upon clicking ‘Finish’, your evaluation license will be activated and your 90 day evaluation period will begin.
If your computer does not have internet access, select the ‘Install a temporary license and then register it via the website’ option in the “Select license activation method’ window. You will then have a 10 day grace period in which to register and activate your license online.
Full License
To obtain and install a Full license, you can download CrossCore Embedded Studio and purchase a full license here. You can also purchase a Full license from your local ADI sales office or authorized ADI distributor.
When starting CrossCore Embedded Studio for the first time, you will be prompted to install a license. Click ‘Yes’ to install a license and then in the “Select License Type” window select the following:
- to install a full, permanent license, select ‘I have a serial number that I would like to activate’ and click 'Next.'
Enter your license serial number in the next window and click 'Next.'
As with installing an Evaluation license,in the “Select license activation method’ window select ‘Install and activate a license on-line all in one step,’ click 'Next' and fill in the required contact details. Upon clicking ‘Finish’, your full, permanent license will be activated.
EZ-Kit License
An EZ-Kit license comes with the EZ-Kit it is designated for. In order to get an EZ-Kit license one has to order the EZ-Kit they are interested in working with. The following EZ-Kits support EZ-Kit licensing. They can be purchased from their respective web pages:

All other EZ-Kits require an Evaluation or Full license to use CrossCore Embedded Studio.
Purchasing an EZ-Kit can be done here or from your local Analog Devices, Inc. sales office or authorized distributor. Once the EZ-Kit has been obtained the user can download CrossCore Embedded Studio as described in the above section and follow the same procedure for installing a Full license.
Add-in Licenses
When installing the Add-in (or Middleware) software package for CrossCore Embedded Studio the user will be asked to install their license at that time. The procedure is the same as that for the previous license types.
To obtain and install an Add-in license, you can go to this link and click on the Add-in you are interested. From there you can find how to purchase that Add-in which will come with a serial number. Run the install program for the Add-in and it will prompt you to install the serial number.
