Question:
Where can I find Example Projects and Code Sketches in CCES?
Answer:
CCES provides code samples for helping you quickly learn how to create projects. Sample types include:
- Example projects, which provide working projects that include documentation in readme files.
- Code sketches, which are small code samples. Many of them are interactive, meaning their input parameters can be modified by the user. The code sample is updated to reflect the modifications in real time and can then be copied and pasted into a project.
Example projects and code sketches are product-specific. Each one is installed with the product whose application it illustrates.
CCES simplifies the process of searching for relevant samples; you do not have to search the physical installation folders of individual products. The Browse Examples page, also known as the Example Browser, searches all of the example projects and code sketches installed on your computer. You can search by various criteria including product, processor, processor family, platform, language, and keywords for your application. The Example Browser can be found by going to Help > Browse Examples, or the Help > Welcome page, within the IDE.
For a list of all available examples, and the products that they are installed with, please visit our Software Examples Page.
For further information, please see Help > CCES 2.x.x > Integrated Development Environment > Navigating Within the IDE > Help System > Viewing Examples.
