Question:Where can I find Example Projects and Code Sketches in CCES?Answer:CCES provides code samples for helping you quickly learn how to create projects. Sample types include:
Example projects and code sketches are product-specific. Each one is installed with the product whose application it illustrates.
CCES simplifies the process of searching for relevant samples; you do not have to search the physical installation folders of individual products. The Browse Examples page, also known as the Example Browser, searches all of the example projects and code sketches installed on your computer. You can search by various criteria including product, processor, processor family, platform, language, and keywords for your application. The Example Browser can be found by going to Help > Browse Examples, or the Help > Welcome page, within the IDE.
For a list of all available examples, and the products that they are installed with, please visit our Software Examples Page.
For further information, please see Help > CCES 1.x.x > Integrated Development Environment > Navigating Within the IDE > Help System > Viewing Examples.
following the link above www.analog.com/swexamples, there should be some software examples installed, after installing the CCES (Version 1.0.1).
However, I can find just some special, less interesting examples on my computer. The examples listet on the page above ar missing.
Is there any way to download the example "Power_On_Self_Test"?
The Power On Self Test examples - where available - are distributed as part of the Board Support Package for that specific EZ-KIT Lite.
On the swexamples page, check the "Available Products" list, and find the one you are interested in (e.g. the BF609 EZ-KIT Evaluation Board). The table lists the examples provided for this product, and clicking on the product name link above the table - e.g where it says "ADSP-BF609 Evaluation Board" will take you to the product page where you can download the Board Support Package.
Those two particular boards are available as EZ-Boards (just the evaluation board), or EZ-KIT Lites (evaluation board, with debug agent and accessories), so there are separate pages for each of them.
You can find the board Support Package on the EZ-KIT Lite page, here:
Looks like the examples page links to the wrong one, currently. Thanks for bringing that to our attention.
thanks for the fast answer.
I forgot to tell you, that I'm using the SHARC 21489 EZ Board, that should be similar to the 21469 EZ Board. But it seems, neigher on the product page of the 21489 (http://www.analog.com/en/evaluation/21489-EZBRD/eb.html), nor on the product page of 21469 (http://www.analog.com/en/evaluation/21469-EZBRD/eb.html), there is no download option for a Board Support Package.
According to the thread http://ez.analog.com/thread/15821 the download options will be there soon - is there an other, quick possibility to get them?
