Difference between CCES-NODE and CCES-MNT

Is there a quick summary of difference between these two licences -- CCES-NODE and CCES-MNT

If I wanted to go beyond 30 day license for BF609 - EzBrd and 90 day license on cross-core

is all I needt AD-CCES-MNT-N1 or is that just the cross-core license and not the BF609 support license?

Thanks

  • Hi Mike,

A Node Locked (CCES-NODE) license is a permanent license that - once installed, registered and activated - provides permanent use of the CCES Tools. The CCES-MNT license is a 'maintenance license'; this is the yearly subscription for a Node Locked license in CCES.

The Full CCES licenses, upon activation, provide a one-year subscription period. An active subscription is required if you wish to download and install updates for the CrossCore Embedded Studio tools. Any updates released after your subscription period cannot be installed without applying a maintenance license to activate another year of subscription. When that subscription period ends, you must then purchase a CCES-MNT license.

Note that if your subscription expires, you still have a permanent license to use any versions of CCES released prior to the expiry of your subscription.

The individual EZ-Boards are not licensed, there is only the 90-day Evaluation License. You need only a valid CCES License and you can use the EZ-Board. e.g. at the end of the Evaluation Period for CCES you would need to purchase a full CCES License.

    Regards,

    Craig.
