LED Blink or Talkthru Sample for CCES and ADSP-21489 EZ-Board?

I'm new to the ADSP-21489 processor, and have the ADSP-21489 EZ-board and CrossCore Embedded Studio (CCES, version 2.4.0.0). The only sample code projects I have been able to find for this combination are either too advanced for a 21489 beginner like me or are for VisualDSP++ (which I am not using).

Two questions:

1) Where can I find a simple LED Blink application for CCES and the ADSP-21489 EZ-board?

2) Where can I find a sample "talkthru" project (ideally using input from SPDIF_IN and sending output to the headphone jack) for CCES and the ADSP-21489 EZ-Board?

  • Hi Tommy,

I've moved this question to the CrossCore Embedded Studio and Add-ins forum.

CCES examples are accessed using Help > Browse Examples. Most examples are included in CCES Board Support Packages (BSPs) addins that need to be installed separately. To find links to the available BSPs and the examples they contain please refer to the link below:

    CrossCore Embedded Studio (CCES) Examples

Unfortunately the ADSP-21489 BSP doesn't contain many examples. You may be able to make use of examples from the ADSP-21469 BSP or if you can't find what you need there I think there is an unreleased later version of the BSP with more examples that I could zip up for you if required.

    Regards,

    Stuart.
