Hi,

When you call a run-time library function, the call creates a reference that the linker resolves when linking your program. One way to direct the linker to the library's location is to use the default Linker Description File (ADSP-<your_target>.ldf).

In LDF file the list of linked libraries are defined under "$LIBRARIES =".Therefore, by default libdsp.dlb file is linked into your project using app.ldf file. You can call the functions in lib file by including appropriate header files in your source.

Also, you can store the value or result of the library function to a variable and use printf to check the result and verify the function call to lib file. Please refer the attached libdsp_test.jpg.

Thanks, yes this is similar to what I want to do

1- How do you create and run the project so it doesn't ask to load to BlackFin and just prints results to console?

I defiend a BlackFin project and have the main() code, but how to run and see the results?

2- I want to call following from dsplib:

 - iir_*.asm functions

- fir_*.asm functions 

- coeff and state inits for above functions
