ADSP-BF609 powermanagement sleepmode enable

Hi All,

I am working on ADSP-BF609 blackfin evaluation board for powermanagement.

I got in below path

C:\Analog Devices\ADSP-BF609_Evaluation_Board-Rel1.1.0\BF609_EZ-Board\Blackfin\Examples\services\power_mgmt\BF609_freq_mode_change\BF609_freq_mode_change.c

I build that project and tested it is changing the power mode and clock frequiencies.

OUTPUT:

I want to make sleepmode and wakeup the proceesor. I tried adi_pwr_EnableWakeupSignal after that also same output i got. Can anyone suggest me how to make sleepmode  and after some time wakeup processor?

Thanks in Advance

    Hi Bhargavi,

Please find the attached working code of sleep mode for ADSP-BF609 EZKIT. Please boot the code from flash instead of running via emulator.

In this project, core0 goes to Deep sleep mode and we can wakeup core0 from deep sleep by pressing SW10 pushbutton(Wakeup source, which is generating a CGU event. Upon CGU event, it raises a software interrupt). Before Core0 goes to deep sleep, it sets the LED1. After this, core0 goes to Deep Sleep. We can confirm this by monitoring the state of LED1. LED1 will be remain set(Glow) until you press SW10. The moment you press SW10, it wakes up Core0 and LED1 gets clear(OFF) and LED2 sets(glows).
In this project, we are not using core1 at all. Here core1 is just enabled. We are not monitoring the state of core1.

Please try and let us know how you are getting on this.

  • Hi santha kumari,

Thanks for reply. I tried which you provided code and runned on my board. observation was it went to deepsleep mode led1 is glowing, then we pressed sw10 button to wakeup processor led1 is ON only not went to clear(off) and led2 is also off only. This is observed in board and can you suggest me how to wakeup the processor from deepsleep.

    Thanks in advance,
