Regarding CrossCore Embedded Studio (CCES) IDE development licenses

Hello,

Need to know if we buy "ADSP-BF609 EZ Kit Lite" will we get the IDE Licenses along with the eval kit.

Later if we need to develop the code for the custom board based on the same BF609 processor, can we used the same license for development. Are there any restrictions?

  • Hi,

    1. Need to know if we buy "ADSP-BF609 EZ Kit Lite" will we get the IDE Licenses along with the eval kit.
    >> The ADSP-BF609 EZ Kit Lite package does not come with a separate CCES License.

    An EZ-KIT license is included with EZ-KIT evaluation boards for the following parts only: ADSP-21569, ADSP-BF706, ADSP-BF707, ADSP-SC573, ADSP-SC584, ADSP-SC589 and ADuCM3029

Instead, CrossCore Embedded Studio comes with a free Evaluation license built in which, once activated, will allow you full access to the tools for a 90 day period.

ADSP-BF609 EZ-Kits require an Evaluation or Full license to use CrossCore Embedded Studio.

An evaluation license can be obtained from CrossCore Embedded Studio, which offers a tool chain evaluation license the first time it runs. It can be activated once on a particular machine. Once entered and activated, the license will be valid for 90 days.
