is there a flag the firmware can check whether the firmware is debugging or not?
Moving to CrossCore Embedded Studio and Add-ins
Hello,Could you please explain your query in detail. Are you asking an option to check while flashing the code?This will be helpful for us to assist you betterRegards,Santha kumari.K
I have a BF60x based hardware. Working with CCES is am able to debug our FW. I have parts in our FW I want to exclude while debugging (in runtime).
if ( false == isDebugging() )
instruction // I want to exclude
How is that possible? I thought about some SDU register entries, but I had no time for a closer look until now.
Hi,Could you please explain your use case or why you needed of this feature.So, that we can assist better.Regards,Santha kumari.K
the use case:
when I debug a bf607 the internal watchdog is still working. so if I pause the cpu I will get an exception.
i have another external cpu which I cannot pause in the way I can pause the cpu. So when I have the knowledge while beeing in the debug process that I am in the debug session (firmware scope) than I could do some action like disabling the watchdog or whatever the external cpu does.
So I want to know how the firmware gets to know if "she" is running in the debugger or on the target.
