FAQ:  Which SigmaDSP ICs support selfbooting from an EEPROM?

The ADAU1701, ADAU1702, ADAU1401, ADAU1442, ADAU1445, and ADAU1446 support selfbooting from an external EEPROM. At power-up, these ICs can load their program, parameters, and register settings from an external EEPROM without a need for a microcontroller. All other SigmaDSP ICs require a microcontroller to boot.

    I am adding some of the newer parts that did not exists when this post was first written.

    In addition to the parts listed in the original post:

    ADAU1450, ADAU1451, ADAU1452, (These are the Sigma300 family of parts)

    ADAU1462, ADAU1463, ADAU1466, ADAU1467 (These are the Sigma350 family of parts)
