The AD1953 uses a slightly different communication format from the other SigmaDSPs and therefore it is not compatible with the USBi's firmware. Other SigmaDSPs have 1 chip address byte, 2 subaddress bytes, and then n data bytes. However, the AD1953 combines the chip address and subaddress bytes together in its first two bytes, which is not something that the SigmaStudio/USBi communication protocol is set up to handle.
