AD1954 master/slave setting

Hi,

I want to use the ADC->AD1954 to implement my project.I set the serial interface mode of the ADC  to be master mode and I^2S.So I need to set the serial infterface mode of the AD1954 to be slave mode and I^2S. But I can'f find where to set the slave mode in the AD1954. Can you help me? And what is the defualt setting for the serial interface mode in the AD1954.?

Best&Regards,

zhou

    Hi Zhou,

The serial port control registers for the AD1954 are listed and described on pages 20 - 22 of the datasheet.

From looking at the control register available settings, there is no way to change the DAC serial port from a slave to a master; it is always a slave for LRCLK and BCLK.

At various places through the descriptions, there are references to (default) modes. These would be the settings upon powerup of the part. If a default is not designated, I would assume that a value of b0 or b00 is the default.

    Best regards,

    Coleman
