I'm considering using the ADAU1452 for an audio product we are designing. We have audio stream at 96KHz. What is the maximum size of FIR filter I can use with this device (for this stream)?

Hello Yair,
The ADAU1452 contains 40K words of on-chip data memory, consisting of 2 blocks - DM0 and DM1 memory both at 20K size each.
Theoretically this would mean "up to 20K" FIR filter taps. However, with the audio framework, inputs and outputs, this size would be less than the maximum.
SigmaStudio appears to limit you to 10K filter taps maximum. See below. If you need a larger FIR filter length you could probably create multiple FIR filters in parallel and sum the results of each filter together.
Also, for future reference you can post all ADAU1452 and SigmaStudio related questions here: SigmaDSP Processors and SigmaStudio Development Tool

Thank you John. That was the answer I was looking for.
