about SSM2603 evaluation board

we just got the SSM2603  Evaluation Board, when we connect with the computer, the USB devices cannot be identified. I found that the USB drivers is X86 , it is that mean the computer operating system is 86 bits?  My computer operating system is 64 bits. if it is mean 86 bits, where can we get the right usb devices?

Actually, it is the  other way. the drivers are old 32 bit drivers for 32 bit systems running on the old x86 processors.

I am not certain if I have a workaround for this. I will check on it.

Meanwhile, can I ask about your application? What do you need for a codec and what performance is important to you? Perhaps this is not the best part for what you are trying to do.

Our company  want to design a new product,it will have MIC and 3.5mm line in , when the custormer use the line in ,if they want to MIC signal can be hear too ,so it need  sound mixing. if they want not , it don;t need  sound mixing. for the line in signal , they want to regulate the volume of the L and R channels., they want to regulate tone. they also want the product have AGC and AEC. so if you have good ideas, please tell me!

    Best regards!

    Hello ,

You should be using a SigmaDSP to do all these functions. The ADAu1761 will probably do everything you need that you described.

I see you are in China, can you contact your local ADI representative near you? We have several engineers there that know about the SigmaDSPs and can help you with developing your design. I can also help with the SigmaDSP portion but it is good to have someone more local to talk to.

The AEC may be a little more difficult. It will depend on what you want to cancel out. If it is a more difficult task then you may have to move to a higher powered DSP and that would complicate the design but it can be done.
