Hello,
I am preparing to migrate to Windows 10 and have it set up as dual boot with Windows 7.
I discovered that .net3.5 needs to be installed separately on Windows 10. On doing so I installed SigmaDSP v3.15 x64, but it won't start.
It is showing the message as captured in the attachment.
Without SigmaDSP I can't/ won't migrate to Win10.
Kindly look into this and advice.
Thanks!!
No luck with v3.16.1. Same issue repeats. I can run v3.15 and v3.16.1 normally on Win 7 though.
On the side note, I am excited about SSM3525 support in v3.16.1. Can't wait to get my hands on the datasheet.
Hi,
Could you please check in your Control Panel that the .Net 3.5 installed properly?
Thanks,
Venky
Hello Venkatesan,
Short story: The issue was with .net35 integration. It is now resolved.
Long story:
1. After Win10 clean install, I used the Windows 10 add/remove features to install .net35. It uses the internet. .net was installed and I also got a mark against the feature. I installed sigmastudio. However, the application did not open.
2. After Win10 clean install, I used the dism enable0feature command from cmd prompt to install .net35. This does not use the internet. .net was installed and I also got a mark against the feature. I installed sigmastudio and it functions as expected.
I put in a lot of time over the weekend but finally got it going.
So consider this case as solved and closed.
Thanks for your input!
