ADAPTATIVE / DYNAMIC LOUDNESS

Category: Software
Product Number: ADAU1467

Hi

I'm designing a 3 way crossover with I2S input.

I'd like to insert an adaptative loudness, designed for ADAU1467.

I've seen all the previous topics about adaptative / dynamic loudness, but none of them are dedicated to the ADAU1467 which should have better processor and memory.

The master volume is controlled by an AUX ADC through LUT. But, I've got 4x I2S inputs that have their own volume control (like Bluetooth).

That's why I don't want a classic loudness brick with ext control.

Thanks for your help !

  • Hi Dave,

    Thanks for the help !
Indeed, in the first file attached, I'm not using the classic loudness block.

I'd like to fin the correct way to use the classic loudness block with dynamic control.

I was thinking about envelope peak rms (that I don't find in ADAU1467 tools), or RMS table to output 0-1 values.
But I don't know how to do it correctly.
