Hands free device replacement with Sigma DSP?

Category: Datasheet/Specs

Hello, I'm sourcing a technology replacement device for a Dual Echo Canceler & Noise Canceler with Dual Codec for Hands-Free device that went obsolete on one of our design.

I'm looking for help in choosing an Analog device that would provide the same functionality. I'm trying to replace the Lapis Semi ML7037-003.

Thanks!

  • Hello mavondet,

I cannot find a datasheet for that part. So I do not know all the details for matching.

Is this hands free device battery operated?

If it is battery operated then the ADAU1787 is a good part. It is designed for active noise cancellation. Echo and noise cancelling is a little more difficult to do with a small battery operated part.

Have you done any development using a HiFi core so you would have a license for it?

Otherwise, the ADAU1452 or ADAU1467 is the best part since it can run our echo and noise cancelling algorithm.

You will need to choose  codec. The ADAU1372 is low latency.
