Regarding migrating a project from SS 4.7 to SS+ 2.0. Could you please try following those steps given in this post. I followed those steps, and I can migrate the project successfully.

I followed the same steps previously. The old SS 4.7 project initially loads, but when I try to open the actual schematic the program locks up and is unresponsive. It will sit in this state for hours and the blue progress bar at the bottom of the window never moves.
