Sigma studio "Link compile download".

HI.


I create a project that run in ver 4.5 in my previous computer with no problems.

When I switch to my new computer and install sigma studio  ver 4.6 , i open the project ( which run on my previous computer) and run " Link compile download. 
However I didn't see that the code is working . No signal appeared in the output.

Can you advice what to do . (May be a drivers update  needed?)

    Could you please tell me whether your project didn't even compile that is you are getting any error while compiling or It just compiled and downloaded well but you didn't get an output signal ?

     If you are facing any errors or like crashing of program or just opened and closed , please just check the below things ,

    Could you please check the Operating system on both the computers? Are both same?

    Are you using any add-in features that required separate installation?

    If you create a new project on the PC showing an error message, add a component, save, and reopen, does that work?

    Issues are noted with SigmaStudio running in virtual machines (VMware, etc) and it's recommended to run on a default Windows machine.

    Please check whether all the respected DLL's are added and checked in Tools>>Add-ins-browser that is located on top left corner of SigmaStudio.

    If you get your project compiled and didn't get the output signal then kindly attach your project we will quickly have a look and get back to you.

    I am working with Menashe, please see attached 2 projects: "test tone" and "project 1".

    we tried to run link compile download on both and we succeeded to run only on test tone with version 4.6 of sigma studio.

    can you please check?

  • Hello Shahar123,

    I loaded up the projects and tested them. The problem with the Project1 is that it uses custom DLLs and I do not have the custom DLLs. How did you get past that? Did you copy the DLLs and add them into Rev 4.6?

    Are you running this on an evaluation board or your own hardware?

    We purchased function of Noise reduction from Analog and added manually for sigma studio Rev 4.6.

    We have window 10 on the computer.

    Project1 appears to be corrupted. It does not open correctly in v4.5. Have you opened this with v4.6 and then saved it? Do you have the project that worked with v4.5?
