Input selection on ADAU1701 or fixing manufacturers solution

Hello all,

I have a 3e audio board ADAU1701, but it has a broken automatic input selector, whereby it crashes on trying to upload if the module is included:

Unfortunately, the manufacturer has password protected the module and won't release the password..  So is there a way to code this myself? I can make basic flows, but this seems above me as I struggle with the logic side of operations.

Alternatively, if anyone can point out how to get access to this module or get it to be compatible that would be great! ( I am using the latest version of sigma studio)

Many thanks in  advance

    Hello,

I would encourage you to be creative and try to create this automatic input selector yourself!

Start with the Signal Envelope block, available under Dynamics Processors > Envelope > Signal Envelope, and this will give some indication of how loud each input signal is. Then you can use logic blocks and multiplexers to do the switching.

If you can't get it working, let me know and I can put together an example project.

    Regards,

    Joshua
