Popping Noises with the ADAU1450

In my project I used the ADAU1450 to self-boot. I‘m having trouble with popping noise when I switched EQ.

I have used DC-BLOCKING in my design. I also tried to mute before switching data, but these effects are not ideal.

I would be very grateful if anyone might give me some advice.

    Hello Evin,

How are you switching EQ? Do you mean switching from one EQ block to another or switching the filter settings?

    Which filter are you using?

Where is your input signal coming from? Pretty much all ADCs will produce a DC offset and if you are boosting LF EQ then it will boost the DC and you will get a pop. So either you set the HPF in the ADC or you use the DC-blocking cell.

Are you getting a pop when changing EQ coefficients?

If so then how are you changing them? Are you using Safeload?

There are so many variables. Please give us more information and attach your project so we can see which EQ you are using and other details.
