adi_signtool.exe utility has been newly added in CCES 2.10.0 to sign and encrypt boot streams.
adi_signtool is an interface utility for using the signtool utility. Only the functionality required for use with Analog Devices processors is made available via the adi_signtool interface. The signtool and securebootsim utilities are provided by a third party; not all functionality is used by CrossCore Embedded Studio or applicable to Analog Devices processors.
We would recommend using adi_signtool for all parts that support secure boot and not using signtool directly. For GLXP, GXP2 and newer parts it is necessary to use adi_signtool as it post-processes the signtool created secure boot header image to make it compatible for improvements that happened in the secure boot for these newer processors.
