AD1835 mono signal possible ?

Question

Hi, 
 I use an AD1835 with the ADSP21369 EZ Kit Lite and I want to work on mono signal. Is that possible to configure the AD1835 to just "send" to the DSP one signal and no the "right-left-right-left..." serie ?

Hi, 
 I think it should be possible. The AD1835 can be used in DSP mode for this purpose. In this mode it does not differentiatle left/right channel. You can configure the ADSP-21369 SPORTs also in DSP serial mode to receive and send data from/to CODEC.
